Welcome to The Dance Honors, a prestigious celebration of your dancers and their competitive season. At this black-tie gala, we honor the dancers, teachers, choreographers, studio directors, parents, sponsors, and everyone in between. After all, we may set the stage, but you bring it to life.
Before taking your seats, enjoy cocktail hour, connection with industry peers, live music, unique photo-ops for your studio's social media, and more. Then, raise a glass of champagne and help us recognize the incredible talent of the week with top-level, coveted awards, all leading up to the biggest award of all: The Best of the Best.
At ULTIMATE, it's all about the sash. Out of thousands of routines that take the stage throughout the week, only 30 routines will be honored with the coveted gold sash — their ticket to The Dance Honors and a symbol of prestige.
Earning the sash is no small feat. For group routines, dancers must first win a banner award at Championships, then recompete at The ULTIMATE PAC Attack Challenge. Only the top 5 routines in each category (creative concept, emotional execution, and best in show) will receive a sash. For soloists, dancers must either compete for Title or Artist of the Year and place in the top 5 across all age groups, or receive a Call Back and compete in an intense improv battle to claim a spot in the top 5.
